Cap de la Chèvre
on the Crozon Peninsula, Finistere
(Park at the far end of the D255 from Morgat)
9 kms, 3.5 hours
A spectacular coastal walk with cliffs, bird-life, distant sea views and even a chance of spotting some dolphins in the Bay of Douarnenez.

A. Continue on foot from the carpark, and take the track passing to the left of the signal station. Arriving at the coast path (marked red and white), follow it to the left.

B. Where the coast path comes closer to the main road, take the path on the left to join the main road, following this for 250m then turning left onto a track. At the end of the trck turn left onto the road, passing an old windmill on the left.
At the junction turn left then right to continue through the village of Kergonan, bearing right at the end to leave the village on a track.
C. At the t-junction turn right on the stony track
D. After 500m, just past a slight right bend, take the track on the left (sign: Kerdreux 2km).
Continue toward the coast and arriving at the coast path follow it to the left, all the way back to the Cap de la Chèvre and the signal station.
