Bay of Goulven
on the north coast of Finistere
(D10 west from Plouescat - go through
Keremma, turn right to La Maison des Dunes and park)
4.5 kms, 1.5 hours
This area is a bird sanctuary and the
Maison des Dunes has exhibitions and films about the local
flora and fauna as well as about the history of the site.

A. From the
carpark head for the coast and turn left along the beach.
B. Continue
around the headland, Penn ar C’hleuz, as far as the lake,
Etang de Goulven.
C. Turn
inland around the north side of the lake.
D. Bear left
to the old sandworks, following signs to La Maison des Dunes.
