Keen walkers Martin and Clara Cronin have three beautifully renovated gites. They are ideally located for anyone wishing to explore the stunning North Brittany coastline, or the surrounding valleys and woodlands with their rich diversity of plant and wild-life.
Set in peaceful countryside close to the market town of Lannion, near the GR34A footpath and coast path (GR34), the three gites (accommodating up to 16 people, including one gite suitable for disabled visitors) provide the perfect base for varied walking and visits to places of interest.

GITES IN SOUTHERN BRITTANY
Our two enchanting 16th Century gites (sleeping 18 in total), with heated pool, are situated in the stunning Blavet Valley, with walking for all levels from hillside to river towpath. Explore the magical countryside from our cottages which lead onto the GR341 footpath and other walking routes.
Poul Fetan, the 16th Century “living” village, is a 10km nature-lovers round walk. Many guests take an evening walk to Botconan Mill to relax at the Pizzeria or the delightfully eclectic “Randonnée” Bar. We have our own specific walking guides from the cottages. Other published walks and local Carte Bleue IGN 1:25000 maps are available.
Close to many beaches, surrounded by unspoilt countryside, history and culture; Le Crann is ideal for exploring Southern Brittany.

WALKERS' ACCOMMODATION in CENTRAL BRITTANY
Parcou is a peaceful hamlet deep in the heart of the Breton countryside,
Ideally situated midway between the Monts d’Arrée and the Nantes-Brest canal, and close to the magical forest at Huelgoat, there are many kilometres of trackways starting from our door, all suitable for walkers (whether beginners or experienced), cyclists and horse riders.
It is only 1,5 km from the local village, and an hour’s drive from Roscoff ferry port & Brest airport.
We have lived in Parcou since 1992 and aim to use our local knowledge to help guests get the most from their stay.
After walking from Parcou to Santiago de Compostella (1800kms!) in 2007 we decided to provide simple, comfortable & welcoming accommodation to suit all needs in our renovated 18th century ‘corps de ferme‘.

For walkers (and cyclists) we are ideally situated on the banks of the Nantes-Brest canal/River Oust and on the edge of the medieval centre of Malestroit. La Maison Blanche provides the ideal base for holidays in Southern Brittany or for stopovers for walkers and cyclists who are ‘doing’ the Nantes – Brest canal. The house is close to all local shops and restaurants.
